Spinoff to the heartrate theory - did anyone do the ring on a chain?
Just wondering if anyone did that and it came out true? For those that may not know or know it by a different name, you put a ring on a chain and ball it up in your hand, then drop it over the flat palm of the person. Then the ring will start to move and certain directions mean boy or girl. I think it will also say how many children you're having.
Anyone know it to work out?

Co-workers have done this to me...and others. They did a little bit differently then you described, but similiar. The strange thing is they did it on people that already had a family and no intentions of having any more and it did work for them! I won't be able to tell you too well if it works for me because it says a boy, girl, and then it acts wierd (on the second swing) that looks like twins (doesn't stop just goes from boy to girl.)
