Can you actually use Lenox vases in a practical way. What I mean is, can you put water in them and flowers, or are they meant only to be decorative? Probably a dumb question, but I wasn't sure....

I have one and I put flowers in it. I mean, I don't like it, so I might as well stick something in it that I DO LIKE!

Im not a fan of Lenox but certain items I like to collect. I got this pretty Lenox vase that Ive used, for flowers. But lately I have been hiding my snacks in there so my kids wont see them. Better then a cookie Jar. I have a no junk food house

of COURSE you can! That might helpt to think of it that way. it IS something you can use, it doens;t JUST collect dust. All of those huge lenox serving dishes can actually be used for food and in fact most lenox fine china is even dishwasher safe these days.
I'm a BIG lenox fan. but I was really annoyed when it was ALL I got for my birthday. I'm not displaying any of it until I get married, so it's all in boxes.. I only have 2 lenox pieces out, my minnie's dream wedding and my little mickey cardmember exclusive ring box b/c it's small. but all of my snow white stuff, still in boxes!

Yes, my mom uses her vases. That's why I like the vases, they are not just dust collectors.
I know whayt you mean though. I have 2 crystal bowls that I got as shwower gifts I didn't register for.
What do you do with those? You can't exactly put salad or chips in Waterford, can you?

Actually, I love Waterford and did register for a few pieces. I know what you mean though, I got these Tiffany's crystal pieces which are gorgeous, but I am sort of afraid to use them. We don't have a lot of room in the kitchen of our apartment, and I am paranoid I will smash them. Or worse, DH will, since he is a little clutzy.

I actually do like Lenox....but REFUSE to allow it to be a dust collector. I know people won't use their good stuff. What is life if you can not enjoy the 'good stuff' everyday. My Lenox vases will be filled with flowers. BTW I do not like the small Lenox vases, bowls, etc. They are useless...those are dust collectors in my opinion. The larger, the better.
