Spinoff to VH hour...

If you were a guest at a wedding and was too full to eat the desserts, would you like the fact that you were given a box to take ur goodies home?

yes i would love that ... alot of the weddings i have been to had a VH hour but never any box to take home .. i think that is a good idea .. full VH have alot of desserts so it may make less waste for afterwards ....

Yes I would love that - in fact we did that at the last wedding we went to. We were too full to eat at the Venetian Hour, but there were so many goodies we couldn't pass up so we filled up a plate and then asked one of the waiters to put the desserts in a box for us to take home. We saw many other people doing the same thing, but it would be nice if the boxes were already displayed on a table somewhere so guests wouldn't have to bother the waiters for them.

We are having a full V-Hour. I think everyone enjoys it. It might take a little bit away from the party but I definitely think it enhances your wedding.

My FH's aunt was telling me that when her daughter got married at Villa Lombardi's the waiters packed up all the extra goodies and stacked them in boxes on a table as teh guests left. The only problem was that many guests did not know they could take it....but I think it's a great idea!
