I was BEYOND impressed with Russo's...they were unbelievable!

Also...Tara from EAP was like a god send!! She went above and beyond and was truly an asset to the wedding.

I loved almost all our vendors...but my favorites were:
Oksana...loved her and my makeup. She did everything I wanted, and my BP and MIL wanted...everything lasted except the lipstick, which she told me in advance about and gave me a touch-up lipstick for

Michael Rosengard and Ollie (North Island Photography)...I love my photos!!

Loivn' Oven Florist...I know it sounds weird, but when I walked into the ballroom for the first time and saw my CPs, I was amazed. Ditto for my bo-k and my BP's bo-ks. Keyth, the floral designer, is an artist!!!

How about you Mimacat...?

i truly feel that all of our vendors were perfect for us and did everything they could to make our day fabulous.

Bravura was out of this world, along with Island Mystic the 3 piece calypso band for the CH

I have to say that John from Flower Michele did a fantastic job, our flowers were beautiful! exactly what i wanted.

Our photog Michael O'Neill - well he is just amazing

Classic Video - so far so good, can't wait till we get our video

Jill Harth - She made me pretty

And Timber Point - well our RH was just amazing, food was delicious service was great, it could'nt have been any better.

Stephanie from 3 Angels Gifts...best person for your Greek needs!

Powerstation Band....unbelievable....the singers were all good looking and had AMAZING voices. they kept everyone dancing all night

Land's End - everything positive that is said about them is true and then some. I don't know how to describe it. They did everything from SPRINT back and forth to give and take away my BoK for pics, WASHED MY FEET!, got aspirin for my headache and zantac for my uncle...and those are just the services for the family. The food, and everything else, was phenomenal.

Flower Michele - knocked it out of the park. Grown men were complimenting our CPs, and these aren't men who usually have green thumbs.

Camelot - Joe is the MAN. Literally. Everything was perfect and I felt like my wedding was a James Bond operation between their bluetooth earpieces and nav systems - at one point Joe literally said 'expected time of arrival, 2:58pm' lol. Which, btw, was perfect b/c my ceremony was at 3:00pm.

Kenny Pang - EVERYONE loved him and EVERYONE kept saying 'I think he was following me.' How could he have been following EVERYONE? He was EVERYWHERE! I can't wait for my proofs - he even DOVE on the floor for some dancing shots.

Jacqueline Nicole and Denise Venti - Both are AMAZINGLY talented AND their personalities completely added to the ambiance that morning and helped keep us all laughing and calm.

Father Frank - Best officiant ever. He read love letters we wrote to each other that neither of us had heard or read before the ceremony. It was extremely personalized to us.

Cakes by Jay - was wonderful, beautiful and YUMMY! Loved my cake.

PWP Florist - My flowers were more than I could have asked for. He really got what I wanted without me having really told him. My flowers were beautiful and I loved them.

PWP DOC - I didn't think I needed a DOC before the wedding but I'm so glad that I went with one. They really took the stress off of me, DH and my parents the day of the wedding. I recommend a DOC to all brides with a large number of guests and a big bridal party.

Every single vendor exceeded my already high expectations of them. I was only unsure of my florist but she couldn't have done a better job and she was wonderful to work with.

We used FM Entertainment (amazing), Spelman Studios (amazing... I can't believe more people on here don't use them!), Sir Oliver Limos (amazing!!), Rambling Rose Florist (amazing)... CLM (I have no words about how amazing they were).

We truely couldn't have been happier.

Re: Spinoff to what went wrong

camelot limos

I called them like 20 times a day, changing my mind and they helped me get a 14 passenger limo. They were really nice when I called to change my mind, never an attitude, they called when they said they would. They went above and beyond what the had to do.

Its so funny that some of the vendors that other people loved are the very ones that I was super disappointed with!!

i feel the same way about some of my vendors! maybe they just had an off day ya know

You're right, probably just an off day which isn't fair...

I was totally happy with my DJs We Like to Party Entertainment/WL2P and my hair and make-up from Dakotah Spa and Salon.
Also my photographers.

I liked all my flowers EXCEPT for my CP.

Everyone at Bourne Mansion was absolutely amazing. Everything went perfectly - atleast as far as I know. And they actually said to us that they all had fun working that night.

Our DJ was great too. ESP Entertainment...not a LIW Vendor, but I don't think there was a song where the dance floor wasn't crowded.

Another vendor that I absolutely loved was Invitations Ink. They made our invitations, and I can't tell you how many compliments we received on them. They design all of the invitations from scratch, and the price is beyond reasonable. If I ever need any kind of invitation / announcement made again, I am definitely going to use them.

Re: Spinoff to what went wrong

My florist, With All my Heart, absolutely blew me away with her work! Obviously I saw her work before I booked them but the day of when I saw my bouquet and all the floral arrangements they did for me, I was amazed! She did exactly what I wanted but better, if that even makes sense. Even my dad complimented them which, for my dad to notice something about flowers, says alot.

I HIGHLY recommend them anytime someone asks about a florist.

Re: Spinoff to what went wrong

Everything went great the entire day with only one little upset. they gave me the wrong top layer of the cake. i think what happened they gave me a cake from my viennese table & thought it was the cake top :( i called & they claimed they gave it to me & i checked all the boxes they gave me but it was just cookies pastries & a diff cake top. i called & e-mailed twice but no one every got back to me & i want to see what happens because in my review letter i added it as well & i put it in the mail this past monday.

Bridal touch by Elena was amazing she did such a good job on everyones hair & makeup & i had her come back before the first dance to touch me up before pictures.

my flowers from pedestals i loved the colors . Vito gave me a really good price . only thing i tried to dry my bouquet which was all calla lilys & it just fell apart . i guess you cant dry them.

my band ADA really great job they kept everyone dancing the entire night. Denise was great through the entire planning process when i was 2 months out i probaly called her once a week with questions.

macy who did the dove release was great as well

cassarino : i guess i will find out when i get the proofs

sal maitre d' was very attentive that night

the two bridal attendants i can only remember lauren i forgot the boys name but they where both very attentive the entire night.

avanti limos for bridal party & bride & groom & larrys limo for parents

mw tux gave 1 groomsman a ripped tux & his mom had to sew it & only took 30 off the rental price. i was scared about using them because i heard similiar horror stories but when went to victor tablots he totaly ignored us for about a 1/2 hour & then said give him a few more minutes & he could help 15 minutes later he said he couldnt help us & to come back another time which i thought was completely rude if he didnt have time he should have said so at first so we didnt waste our time.

over all the party was great i still get compliments on the food , band & flowers & everyone loved cocktail

Re: Spinoff to what went wrong

The Woodlands- At first I was nervous because all the sales planners kept quitting or getting fired I went through 3 different people and they never contacted me that they left. But, everything was perfect and beautiful. They exceeded my expectations in every way. And my Bridal Attendant Nicole was more than I could ever ask for. She was the best!

Mi a Br id al Lounge- I wasen't too crazy about my hair for the trials but, the day of my makeup and hair came out so amazing. I even had friends who were makeup artists who were blown away by the job she did.

Dalsimer Florists- I was bit skeptical about what my centerpieces would turn out because I wanted a fall look that didn't really have flowers. BUt, everything came out amazing. It looked so cool and so different and totally made the mood of the wedding.

Horrible Vender- Dante Zeller Tuxedos-
I have never dealt with a bunch of dumber people they managed to a) waste my time b) never knew what the heck was going on c) sent the wrong tux twice! Thank god in the end they gave us what we were supposed to get but, it was horrible dealing with them.

not a vendor exactly, but Jennifer the bridal attendant assigned to me by Nicotra's was amazing.she went above and beyond my expectations of what an bridal attendant should be like, she was my shadow, she was on every detail and provided my 'control freak' self a sense of control when goodness knows i had none that day
