Spinoff to where to register-What to register for?

Yet again...i'm Completely CLUELESS when it comes to the registery.

I have no idea what to register for. FH and I have been living together for the last 2 years so we pretty much have all the household things. But it would be nice to get some newer things.

So help me out here....give me an idea on what should be on my registry and about how many things did everyone register for?

i have TONS of stuff on my registry...alot of typical and also alot of non-typical things...ill fm you my registries, it will be easier for you to see it rather than me name a few things

I was at a complete loss as to what to register for because we need pretty much everything. When we registered at BBB I think the guy could tell I was anxious so he literally held my hand and walked me through the entire store! Most of the registry consultants are very helpful.

When I started to register at Macy's online they had a section where it lists all frequently asked questions. It was so helpful. It told you pretty much how many things recomended for you to put on your list according to how many guests you have. Ex 100 guests 150 items. It gave an example registry of what you need or the most registered for items, I can go on and on, but you have to see for yourself it was soooo easy!
I as well live with FH and felt like I had everything, but didn't feel that way after registering. I felt that I could have anything my heart desired. It was great knowing I could have this stuff and not have to pay for it
