it was about 9:30pm i was in my pj's folding clothes. he comes home and asks me to get him a drink...then he wants 'ice'!! i was yelling at him to get his own damn ice...when i opened the freezer door there was the ring!!!!
By the water, where we went when we first started seeing each other. I was actually on my lunch break so I was not expecting it AT ALL and he said let's take a walk this way (so he could propose at the exact spot we had been sitting) and of course, stubborn me is like 'no, let's go the other way!'..haha..so it wasn't the EXACT place he planned to pop the question, but it was still perfect
At the Rockefeller Christmas Tree in NYC. He gave me a ring pop candy and jokinly asked 'will u marry me' and i replied, 'no, the ring's gotta be a little nicer that that!' and then he pulled out the REAL ring and said 'well, maybe this one will be better, will u marry me?' I was so shocked! and Happy!
he flew me up to ny and when we landed, we met up with my family at a restaurant in brooklyn where my family has all of their parties....he did it w/my parents, four brothers, sister in law and his son sitting there. they all knew except for my mom n me..it was great
FH took me to the city on Thanksgiving eve because he said he want to see the balloons display. So we went to see the Thanksgiving Balloons and after that we took a walk in Central Park and thats when he took out a present and told to open it now because he couldn't wait till Christmas, So now I started to cry not because I knew what was going on; I had know idea, but because everything was just so beautiful and it just started to flurry at that time. When I open it and saw the ring he whisper in my will you marry me and now I am on LIW.
EAB Plaza under the big chirstmas tree... it sounds more romantic than it was... I almost forze to death...
