Did your parents have something else they wanted to name you?

My name is Vanessa but my mom said she thought about naming me Brandy. Although it's not a bad name, I just can't picture my name being Brandy...reminds me of Moesha or something...lol

i think that is also great. Black and white weddings are great. I went to a b&w and the bride put on the invitations black & white only. it was great.

I want that so no one can say they didn't have an outfit. lol.

My parents were going to name me Elizabeth or Lauren I think. But then they decided on Kathryn because my mom loved Kathrine Hepburn and she wanted to spell it differently.

My mother had a boys name: Anthony...but she got my name from watching Dynasty while in the hospital...I dont think she knew what she was going to name me before then

No, my parents kept with an italian custom, Im named after my grandma. All my cousins have the same name, its crazy when you go to a family party and someone says a name and everyone turns lol

My mom wanted to name me Jessica or Laurie.....my dad really wanted to name me Dawn Marie (which won out in the end). I didn't like my name when I was younger....I would have preferred Jessica. If I was boy, I would have been Michael.
