Spinoff: Women with porcelin crowns - do Crest Whitestrips work on them?
Just wondering. I was considering it but I don't want to whiten the teeth around the crowns only, it would defeat the purpose of having my crowns color matched!

I think they work only on natural teeth.

My dentist told me not to put the white strips on crowns. Not sure if it damages the crown but it won't whiten it.

Teeth Whitening only works on natural teeth

I use Crest Whitening Strips and have 2 crowns, it doesn't whiten them and it hasn't ruined my crowns.
You may just want to double check with your dentist but the strips should do no harm.

Damn. No whitening for me! Oh well. I'll have the digital versions of the photos so I can always photoshop whiter teeth later.
