Spitz and Peck

Has anyone ever used Spitz and Peck. I went to the showroom in Huntington yesterday and I was extremely impressed. Just looking to see what anyone else thought.

Glad to hear you were impressed because I've heard some mixed things about them. They are one of the two required florists I have to choose from.

I didn't use them- but I met with them..

I was very specific with what I wanted- brought in pics, etc. Anyway- they take a couple days to send me a proposal- and it has basically nothing I requested- I felt it was more of a boiler plate propsal- and it was very conveiniently about 700 or 800 over my budget.. the whole thing turned me off.

The florist I ended up using- gave me a price for what I WANTED before I told him what I wanted to spend-- over 2000 less than Spitz & Peck.

We met with them, and I personally got a bad vibe. I felt like we were telling him our ideas and he was interpreting them incorrectly and not actually listening to what we were saying.
He was also very pricey

I can not remember they name of the guy we met with yesterday but he listened to everything I had to say and he made suggestions based on my ideas and thought he was very creative. The quote that he gave me was only about $100-$200 difference from the other florists.

We're actually made a last minute switch to them just a few weeks ago and they have been extremely accommodating. I had to use them or another florist and originally chose the other, but after a series of bad experiences, we decided to go with Spitz and Peck. I am working with Bobby (the owner I think) and after a lot of previous flower stress, he has made me feel much calmer.

There is a lot of mixed feedback on them, but my best advice is go with your gut... and be really detailed in your contract. But, I would say that for all vendors, not just for this one. Feel free to FM me with any questions.

My sister and my best friend used them, they did an amazing job!!!
Both of their flowers were so gorgeous!!

To be honest, I also got a bad vibe from them -- very presumptuous. And then, I found out that the Thatched Cottage no longer recommends them. Do a search -- like all vendors, some good and bad reviews. Read them to get a better feel of what was bad and good about them.

i'm not sure who it is, but there is a bride on here who got married already and i remember that they said that they were the worst vendor and they wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
