the man I met with at S&P who would not listen to me about the flowers I wanted. I told him I wanted simple, one type of flower, small...He gave me a quote on the total opposite. The price was a bit high. I don't think they like to do simple arangements.

We had very simple arrangements. I loved them. I guess we just clicked with them.

Unfortunatley, I did not have a good experience w/S & P.
I wanted Peach asiatic lillies, the gentleman straight out lied to me and told me they did NOT exist, I found this so odd, since I've seen so many pics of these. I explained to him exactly what I was looking for, but he still insisted, and suggested I use silk peach lillies mixed in w/the real white ones. I was so appalled. He also quoted me a very high price.
At least a few times afterwards, I kept getting phone calls from them wanting to know if we were booking. I found this annoying, especially since he KNEW he wasnt prepared to give me what I wanted, so finally I told the lady that called that I chose another florist who was willing to get my lillies, and that the man had lied to me.
That was the end of the phone calls

Horrid! Do a search for my wedding reviews. They were the only vendor I wished I didnt book.

I recommend that you go across the street when you are over there and check out Stefans... I have heard enough horror stories about SandP that I did not even check them out!!!! The stories were in their customer service dept and I have heard stories about flowers being dead and stuff.... Not willing to take the risk.... Check out Neil or Steve from Stefans!!!!

I used them and although the flowers looked good (fresh) overall, I was disappointed with their work. We paid ALOT of money for them and I did not feel we got our money's worth. I didn't do any comparison shopping so it was my own fault.

You should do a search on this vendor - I believe there were a few people that weren't exactly thrilled with them. JMO

I had a limited list of florists to choose from based on the hall we used. I would have loved to check out Burtons and some others, but unfortunately we had some of the most expensive florists on LI on our list. I just felt that the guy we worked with actually listened to me, and in the end, I got exactly what I wanted. I did have a prob with my bouquet, that was fixed immediately, and I didn't even stress about it.

I think whoever you chose, you will be happy and have beautiful flowers. Good luck girls!
