is anybody splurging on anything that you know is a ridiculous amountof money, but you really want to do it anyway...

even though it will put you way over budget

i really want to splurge on...my video...yup my video

i am weird...growing up i never imagined my dress, i imagined my video... and the one i want is a crazy stupid price...because its a video... but i want it SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad!!

should i just do it anyway and pray i dont go bankrupt? say yes!!

After the hall...the photographer is the next big ticket vendor...but pictures are so important to me that it doesn't bother me.

i splurged on my dress and my favors. hehehehe and i have a feeling thats not all i'll be splurging on. i am the worst!

As for my Splurges:

1. The INN - It was more than I imagined spending w/o upgrades and I added VH, clams, oysters, shrimp and the mediterrean hot seafood. That is what happens when your family is from Adriatic coast and addicted to seafood!

2. Angelica Glass
(but FH really wanted her and I know she will be worth every penny)

These two things had no budget - this rest I am going to budget like crazy!

i know. i looked into lighting too and the 1 company i called wanted like $5,000. I couldn't justify it and FH would never get on board. i lighting.

We are splurging on a band. It was such obscene amount of money. But we really wanted a multi cultural thing.

we SPLURGED on our band as well..i still cringe when I look at those numbers. But they are AMAZING and FH was determined to book them!

So far I have two splurges....

1) the Viennese hour at the reception...
and this is an odd one...
2) The church...the church was on the slightly expensive side but I just HAD to book there... I know a lot of people think I am nuts but I could not see myself getting married anywhere else so I just had to do it!

we went over budget on our photographer/videographe. Im a good saver and im all about saving money but this was the one thing i was not budging over. Fh was mad and we got into an arguement over it but i explained to him why it was so important and eventually i got my way lol

I think we are going to do the Lobster display. FH really loves seafood. We are also doing the chocolate fountain and our DJ. I should just answer that the whole wedding is one big splurge.

i feel like im splurging on everything too. We never made a budget, its just like a 'hey we really want this and it seems within a good price range ok lets do it'

UPDATE----

We are doing it!!!! OMG!!! We are getting the contract byt he end of the week!!! I am freaking out!!!

We will probably have to walk to the church... but i don't care!!!!

FH and I spent the most so far on our photographer. He is AWESOME and this is the one area from the begining we agreed on splurging for. Your photos are forever. Also, my veil was INSANE because it matches my gown and has really beautiful embroidery on it. Thank god for mom and dad :) I thnk I would have gotten it anyway because I really fell in love with it and couldn't stop thinking about it everytime I tried a different one on.
