I would love to but I'm too afraid I'd end up in jail. I would looove to get in those buildings, I've always wanted to go there.

i grew up in queens all around cemetarys so we were alsways going in and exploring especially after hours and getting chased by the greenies (security)

That $ucks Shorty because that was one of our destinations We'll have to be more 'stealth' than that

Last night I was talking to Tim about it and he said the Parks Dept actually runs walking tours ...

I still say we got stealth, I mean, it's not like we'd stand out or anything - a bunch of grown women with cameras and grappling equipment


Tim did say he was gonna get me a tent and drop me there for the night And proceeded to tell me how it was haunted blah blah blah ...

Well heck, we can go on the 'legit' tour and then sneak off. Would they really miss it if say half of their group disappeared? We could say we're explorers, like the 'Blair Witch' people...let's do it!

there's also a 'spooky' scavenger hunt here in NYC too - a company called Watson Adventure runs the scavenger huints and they are really fun. My job just had one in Central Park in October and I had a really good time :) It's more trivia hunting than anything, but still is very interesting and really fun!

That's it...I'm getting this going. I did something like this in high school (rounded up a bunch of girls and checked out the spooky house in Massapequa, drove past Pilgrim State, the works). We had so much fun. Could you imagine a bunch of 'mature' ladies, sneaking around haunted buildings, etc.? I think it would be a rip!!!

When I lived in Seaford we used to drive past the haunted Massapequa house all the time! Count me totally in - I think this sounds like a lot of fun and what better way to spend spooky sight-seeing than with LIW friends! I'm excited!!!

I've been in the psych center once, and OMG it was so scary I'm never ever EVER sneaking into one of those buildings again.

We snuck in, saw all kinds of paintings on the walls - we walked in further to get a closer look, and all of a sudden, behind us, a wall CRUMBLED over our exit - the guys I was with had to move the chunks of concrete just so we could get out...and this was in broad daylight.

Imagine if we got stuck in there?!?!
