I've gone twice to Rain Day Spa in Woodbury! I love it! It lasts for a few days as long as you moisturize. Just remember to shave your legs and exfoliate before. It takes about 15 minutes and it costs $50 there. A person sprays you, not a machine.

Done it and while I was pg cause I couldnt stand to be white....it was great. It last about a wk.
Make sure you have the person show you how to take care of it after coming out of booth, You dont want to be streaky.

There is an airbrush tanning spray by Neutrogena that you can put on yourself, its very light and gives you a nice color without any streaks

Ive done the booth before and I loved how I looked. It had a weird smell though. That was 2 years ago, so Im guessing its come a long way. I plan on having the professional spray me, not the booth, for my wedding!

Have you used this yourself? I used to use the Clinique spray but it never ever came out even and it looked HORRIBLE :(

I have used this myself, I have it at home. Its great. I have used others that were soo bad that streaked and that were lotions and did not work. It costs around 14 bucks but worth it bec I hate going to tanning salons

Re: Spray Tanning
FANTASTIC! Natural Quick and easy! I went to a place in Great Neck, Brazil Bronze, to get Airbrushed. It came out GREAT! I had tried the spray booths at Mystic and Hollywood in the past, but it always came out orange and my hands and feet looked dirty. This did NOT happen at the Great Neck place. They use some kind of spray gun that THEY do the spraying, not a booth. I had it done for my cousins wedding. I was scared b/c of my past experiences. Especially b/c I was wearing a pale pink dress. I did it 2 days before the wedding and NOTHING came out in my dress! I could not have been happier with the results! The girls were super nice, informative and very professional. I could not believe how comfortable they made me feel! It is a branch of the Brazil Bronze in SOHO, where they spray all of the stars (they have the magazine articles at the salon). Now I know why!! I highly recommend them! My only recommendation is to make sure you get sprayed a day or two before you want the tan, on a day you dont have much to do.

Re: Spray Tanning
Hi I had two sessions prior to my wedding. I'm fair naturally and didn't want to look pale. Check my non-pro pictures in the wedding album. You'll see the difference. I loved it!!!!
I had it with fauxglow.net and they are in the city. FM me for details.

I'm petrified of doing a spray tan. I've heard some great things about it but I've also heard some pretty bad things. I know that 'real'tanning is soooo bad for you and I normally don't do it. But, there's a place called Oasis (locations in Babylon, Massapequa, and Miller Place). They have a tanning bed called 'Ultra Bronze'. It's not a regular tanning bed (even though it's prob. just as bad for your skin). I'm very fair and I normally get red from being in the sun or tanning indoors but this bed seriously just makes you dark. It's equivalent to one full day in the sun. I usually go there for one or two sessions before I go away on vacation (so that I won't burn when I'm away). It's about $20 and I think it lasts about a 20 minutes. FM if anyone needs the contact info. HTH

Re: Spray Tanning
It's $18 to do it at Hollywood Tans and they have a bunch of locations. Just check their website.
I did it because I was a pasty white bridesmaid in a brown dress and I had to fix that. It came out pretty good, it just took the stark white of my skin and made it a normal skin tone.
