My Brazil Bronze airbrush lasted about 8 days for me. It was $50 for a full body, but WORTH it. It lasted longer, with NO streaks and was more natural looking than the spray booths. Ill never do the spray booths again. I guess you get what you pay for!

maybe this is a dumb question cause i think i know the answer--if you get a spray tan, does it come off on your clothes? even if you shower afterwards?

I wore a pale pink dress to my cousins wedding and danced all day, NOTHING came off in my dress! I lil bit came off directly after I was sprayed. They tell you to wear loose dark clothes. Nothing came off in my clothes after my first shower.

The Neutrogena one I use is an airbrush kind of spray, its dries in seconds and does not come off, when you take a shower, yes it does come off

Re: Spray Tanning

I have gotten air brushed tan at T.Carlton in Smithtown. It is not a booth you go into the room with the girl and she sprays it on you. It is all sugar based so it is all natural. It does smell a little but that goes away.

I highly recommend it. I am very pale, and even though I tan it is never even.

Now, I don't know if I would recommend it for your wedding and here is why....
You have to go for two session two days in a row. You have to shave EVERYTHING and exfoliate the day that you go for the first session. They tell you not to shower for 12 hours and the same the following day only NO SHAVING OR EXFOLIATING. With this said, the first time I shaved after it (about 3 days later) it started to come off and got a little spotty especially under the arms. It took almost 2 weeks for it all to come off. So if a spot on your skin doesn't pick up the pigment completely you will be miscolored for the day and since they advise you don't shave you may be a little hairy too.

Sorry so long...HTH

Re: Spray Tanning

I tried the spray tanning at Beach Bum Tanning and let me tell you it's not all that worth it.
It was an open air spray booth which was nice, but the way that it sprayed wasnt really good for even coverage. You need to put this weird cream over everything that you dont want to get tan (like your hands and feet) but if you accidently touch your thigh or anything else while getting sprayed the goop comes off and leaves white blotches on your skin. Also if you start to sweat soon after getting sprayed you will streak in funny ways.

I can say that if nothing goes weird the tan does look nice, its just trying to not touch anything or sweat for 6 hours that is the hardest part...

Whoa to the T Carlton Smithtown tanning! My experience at Brazil Bronze was NOTHING like that. I ONLY needed ONE treatment and I could shave the next day. It faded nicely too.
