I have all my major vendors booked and I've also bought my dress, BM dresses etc. I feel like I'm at a stand still with the planning though. Whenever I call my vendors to see what else I need to do they tell me to call them in a few months because it is still too early to plan specifics. Anyone else feeling this way?

I am starting to feel the same way...like there is nothing for me to do now and I just have to wait, but maybe a little break is good before the storm
It's true, I'm having a lot of down time in the planning as well.. I think there are just a lot of things we can't do this early, so we just have to wait it out.

Have you created save the dates? Thought about Invitations? Have you picked out a veil/headpiece? That's pretty much what I'm focusing on now.
I understand though- it's very weird when all the big stuff is done and it feels like nothing is going on!! Then when it gets closer- watch out!!! Our heads will be spinning!!

nope... not at a standstill.....
All major vendors booked except for Limos... iam NOW onto details... and I will start to work on invites soon as well.
There is ALWAYS something to do- remember that!!

No kidding right. I already sent out the STD, bought veil and headpiece and even narrowed down wedding shoes. I guess the next thing is planning the rehersal dinner and invitations.

Actually, we are in major wedding planning mode. We just finished registering at Fortunoff and Bed Bath and Beyond. We are researching honeymoons. We are looking into invitations and favors and also we have to pick out our wedding bands.

We have our:
- church - priest - DJ - reception hall - DOC - STD's
completed.........we aren't doing anything else until after the new year. We want to relax and enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas without any wedding stress.
The bridesmaid dresses will be ordered in January.
The invitations will be orderd in February.
We still have so much to do, but that's OK. I'm sure it will all fall into place

yeah, I sort of feel that way, but I also purposely left some things for me to do after January, like order our rings, do my menus and ceremony programs, get the favors, get the bridesmaid gifts, and finish putting my invitations together.
I wish! If you are at a standstill just think of all the DIYs that need to be done, gifts for the BP and parents, rehearsal dinner, make thank you cards for BP, hotel block for OOTG.
I can give you some of my stuff to do!
By the way, enjoy the standstill bc in a few weeks you will probably get slammed again with the holidays coming!

STD's are out, all major vendors are booked including the BM dresses being ordered but we still need to: pick our rings invitations tux's FG dresses pick out favors a bunch of DYI things like menus, table cards, 'we do letters' Still need to register

Definitely not at a standstill- I have a lot of stuff left
save the dates invites rings veil & accessories-- shoes, bag, jewelry make up hair BM dresses flower girl dresses limos dj presents and I'm SURE I'm forgetting to mention stuff
But if you are truly done-- then try to think of small touches you can add to the wedding day-- small DIY projects to keep you busy --poems for each table or something... don't know-- just an idea

OMG I think you planned faster than I did! That's amazing!!! Good for you!! At least the big stress is behind you. But I know...I'm always looking for new ideas just to keep me occupied...there's always another little extra you can include in the wedding. Have you thought of any DIY's for the ceremony? crypacks? Petal Cones, things like that? Photocard box?
