St. Gertrude's church in Bayville?
Hi everyone! We have been in touch with people at St. Gertrude's church in Bayville many times to discuss our wedding, but we have yet to meet with them in person or get anything in writing to confirm our wedding date. They originally told us that one woman was in charge of weddings and now they are saying it is a different person. My mom is getting nervous and doesn't want to send save the dates until we get a written confirmation that we have this date set. She is really nervous because our date is Palm Sunday. The church has assured us over the phone many times that it is cleared and fine but my mom is still nervous something will go wrong until she gets something in writing. Do churches even give you anything in writing like a contract? I feel so silly asking this.. I know we should have figured this out months ago but we've been trying and trying and just not seeming to get anywhere with them. Should I be nervous? Has anyone else gotten married at St. Gertrude's? My mom is so nervous she is making me get scared about the whole thing.
