This is a long stretch- but is anyone using St. Joseph's church in Kings Park--- I have a Pre-cana question...

I can try and help you with the pre-cana question....my parents are actually a couple who 'teach' it...(I would recommend that you ask for them b/c they really are awesome & I'm not just saying that b/c they're my parents. I'm sad I can't do pre-cana with them)

I will definitely ask for them - what night do they teach it? We have to take it next fall.

They don't decide which night it is until they get all of the couples names....
Pre-Cana is offered:
Fall- End. Sept, Oct. early Nov. Winter- January, February Spring- which can run March-April
They'll send you a letter when it's your time to go BUT you can request which session you'd prefer. Like for me FI plays baseball now,so I know that the spring is no good for me, so I'm calling next week just to say...I know your setting up the schedule soon and would like to be put on the list for the Winter session.
I'm going to ask for the Fitzpatricks!

I'm getting married here too! I already did my pre cana this February w/ the Nicholes... they were great! We had it Wednesday nights. FH and I actually enjoyed it....a lot better than we expected it to be. If you have any questions let me know!

Father Francis told us to do it now and get it done. I just sent in the sheet and then they gave me the dates I wanted. I figured its one less thing I'll have to do next year. We have been engaged almost a year already so we got the schedule when we booked the church last July...

It;s a great feeling when something is 'checked' off. We want to get it over with quickly too. As crazy as this sounds... i'm a little bit excited about going. My FH will say different i'm sure lol.
