Re: St Lucia

We honeymooned in St. lucia in August, we stayed at the Rendezvous. It is an all inclusive, food is out of this world. If you want more info, FM me and I will try to help.

You girls are AMAZING, thank you SO much!!! We narrowed it down to The Jalousie Hilton and The Bodyholiday LeSport, we are going to both for 6 days each...I SO can not wait!!!!! FH is in the process of booking it now, our honeymoon to the Mayan Riveria, Mexico has offically been cancelled and I'm happy to say we got every single penny back so we are both VERY happy.

Thanks again girls...your all angels!!!!

We were going to go to St. Lucia, so I know of a few:

The Jalousie Hilton
The rendevous
TiKaye
Ladera
Anse chastanet
Body Holiday by LeSport.

We were going to do the Jalousie Hilton and initially got a good quote form discount-all-inclusive.com

I WAS GOING TO RECOMMEND THIS

ALSO IM GOING TO PARROT CAY- OFF OF TURKS AND CAICOS

TRY THERE!!! MY AUNT IS A TRAVEL AGENT AT LINDEN TRAVEL IN MANHATTAN - SHE IS AMAZING

Hey you, we were looking at Parrot Cay...it looks gorgeous but we started looking at St Lucia first and when Danny saw pics of St Lucia he fell in love so we'll see what happens.

Really, oh cool...I hope this works out because I am really looking forward to this trip.

How was St. Lucia (the island itself)? It looks gorgeous!

Re: St Lucia

the island is beautiful and the people are soooooo nice. We did excersions everyday. The water is beautiful. There is an active volcano, sunset cruises, waterfall hikes. I would defenitly do them. The price isnt bad either.

We just got back from our AWSOME homeymoon in St Lucia and stayed at Sandals Regency. We went on a tour and picked up people at the Windjammer. Looked nice and they all said it was great!
Just a suggestion!

Re: St Lucia

So glad to hear that it is all working out for you. I can't wait to go to St. Lucia and would love to hear all about LeSport Body Holiday - we had such a hard time choosing between LeSport and anse chastanet - they both look so awesome - and the spa treatments at LeSport are supposed to be incredible.

Since you'll be in northern st. lucia you should go to the 'Jump Up' in Gros Islet. The tour books list it as one of the things you must do in the area. It's a weekly street party with tons of food and live music.

A bride on this site honeymooned at lesport and wrote a review of it on brides review - she loved it.

Have a fantastic time!

Re: St Lucia

I went to St. Lucia last year on vacation. Sandals has the best resorts. If you stay at one Sandals you have access to the other two and they have shuttle buses to take you between the resorts. Windjammer is also great, but not all inclusive. Definitely try to fly into the small airport at Castries. It will only be about a 20 to 30 minute drive to your hotel from the small airport as opposed to a 2 hour drive from the large airport.

We stayed at the Jalousie Hilton and we did the helicopter too. The roads in St. Lucia are so crazy - lots of hairpin turns, so if you get carsick easily, it is a good option. I've attached some pics. While we were there, the Jalousie Hilton changed management - I think it was bought by the people who own Le Sport.

Some of the oceanview villas have more of a view than others. We stayed in the 100s right near the helicopter pad. We were really close to the water. The helicopter came and went only a couple of times a day so it wasn't a problem. We had a big plunge pool too.
