I haven't even started a wedding review but DH and I just returned from our honeymoon yesterday and I wanted to let anyone going to St. Lucia know that you are going to LOVE IT!!!
We stayed at La Toc and it was the most incredible vacation I've ever been on. The service and staff are so amazing and always have a smile on their face. The food is delicious and we literally drank for 10 days straight.
Anyone going that has an questions feel free to ask! You're going to LOVE it!!
They have a 'Soon Come Back' desk where they offer great prices if you book another vacation while you're there. We met a few couples that we became really close with and we all booked a trip together for next year!

I'm staing there in july! Did you stay in a butler room? we booked the 2 story verandah suite :)
We are doing the helicopter transfer and ziplining so far, and we also heard joe knows was good so i'm glad you liked it! we will definitely book it

We went to the Grande one night for dinner...it's a beautiful resort! REALLY big!
As far as the excursions go, I think the number you book depends on how long you're staying for. We stayed for 10 days and did 5 excursions because we wanted some time to relax.
All resorts can sign up for the same excursions. You have shuttles that take you from the resort to the tours, only thing that sucks is that most of them are about a 40 minute ride from the hotel depending on where you're staying.
I DEFINITELY recommend the Joe Knows Tour - we were actually thinking about doing it again because it was so much fun and it's like three activities put into one.
Ziplining was definitely worth it! I thought I would be scared to do it, but once you get past the first one it's amazing! I would have regretted not doing it. The tour guides are great and they go first to show you what to do.
The Caribbean Booze Cruise was a blast! It's affordable and it takes you to Rodney Bay where The Black Pearl is (from Pirates of the Caribbean). It's really just about good music, drinks, and meeting new people.
We had originally booked to stay at La Toc for 5 days and Halcyon for 5 days but when we got there we heard that the Halcyon was really quiet and we didn't want that. We asked if La Toc could find somewhere for us to stay and they gave us an amazing room with an incredible view - and they let us keep our butler service free of charge! We stayed in the Honeymoon Hideaway with Private Plunge Pool to start and I'm not sure what the second room is called but it was on Sunset Bluff and about a 30 second walk from the pool.
I'll eventually post a few pics on here, but I posted over 200 on my facebook I love pictures!! Feel free to add me to look at all the pics!! I did the same thing last year to couples that had stayed so I could stalk their pics. before we went.

This post made me so excited for my honeymoon!!! We're staying at the Sandals in Grenada but I love love love hearing about all the fun excursions and the sandals experience as a whole! Congrats! It sounds like a fantastic trip!

I have so many questions for you and I'm so happy to hear you had a great time...
Did you feel that the butler service was worth the extra cost and if you don't mind me asking what exactly did they do for you that made it worth the money? (If that's ok to ask). We are looking to stay at La Toc as well and any pointers would be so helpful... Also did you like having the private pool? I am on the fence about having it, FI is all for it :)
