St. Lucia - Direct Flights? Full Size Jets?

Good Morning Ladies!!

For those traveling to St. Lucia I was wondering if any brides are taking non stop flights?

If not non stop are you taking all full size jets? I get really nervous on anything smaller then a full size jet but I'm not sure if any go directly to the closer airport to the Sandals in St. Lucia ????

Air Jamaica has direct flights out of JFK. That's what FH and I are taking.

I think it's about 3 1/2-4 hour flight. And if I remember correctly, I saw on the Sandals website (I think) that Air Jamaica's having a serious special where you buy one ticket and your partner pays only $59.00!

Of course there are probably restrictions, etc. But I did see that somewhere.

We flew American out of JFK-but connected in Puerto Rico. The connecting flight was a jet, but just smaller (not a propeller plane). The flight from PR was not that long.

We flew into the smaller airport and it was about 15 minutes to the Grande. The smaller airport does not look large enough to have full size jets land there.

jsut remember if you are flying into the larger airport then you will be about an hour and a half to two hours away from most of the resorts ( well i am assuming you are going to Sandals but i may be wrong)

the smaller airport is 20 minute away

i am completely with you though i will be flying into the larger airport i dont get on those little planes
