St Lucia or Antigua

I know this has been done before....and maybe even by me, but I want to book my honeymoon really soon, and I am so torn between these two Sandals location...what do you guys think

The grande St Lucian is beautiful. Danielle and I just came back from there a few weeks back and we loved it. Fm me if you want more info.

My fh and I are booking St Lucia this week. We are staying at the halcyon. The regency was too big for us with the golf course and the grand seems beautiful but we wanted to go with the smaller more quaint and private location. I think any one you choose will be wonderful! :)

well i'm gonna be different here and say antigua... just b/c i'm headed there on sunday. I have heard great things about St. Lucia, and friends of mine just got back from Antigua and had a fabulous fabulous time. I heard there is equal amounts of activities at both, and i picked antigua because 1) it was voted worlds leading honeymoon resort as far as romance goes, 2) less played out than St. lucia and 3) since i am going in the hurricane season it is less likely to get a hurricane (since St. lucia just got nailed with Ivan) so that is my take on it, i will fill you in further when i return in 2 weeks... either one i'm sure is great, but good luck in your decision...

If you are going to St Lucia, i would recommend the Grande. We stayed in two rooms while we were there. The first room was an Oceanfront room with no room service, and then we upgraded to a room that had room service, a complete bar, and tile floors. It was really nice.

If I was you, I would stay away from the rooms on the first floor, and especially the swim up rooms. They tend to smell....From all the people going from the pool onto the carpet...It gives a wierd mildew smell.

The Grande is Beautiful. They have 4 pools, and one of them has a huge tower in the middle that has the swim up bar. That is the main pool. There are bars all over the resort....and there are 5 restaurants. Make sure you head over to josephines for there Chocolate Crepes, they are out of this world.

I talked to many people that worked at the resort and they all agreed that the Grande is the most beautiful out of the 3 resorts on the Island....I am sure you will have an excellent time with whatever choice you make.

The thing we didnt like about the trip was the 1.5 hr bus ride from the airport. If you get car sick or air sick I recommend you taking drammamine or Ginger or something. You will need it for the bus ride.
