we got married back in november...went on a short mini-honeymoon to disney but our 'real' honeymoon will be this july (i am a teacher)...
when we booked our sandals vaca last july (they were having a sale) it was more than a year in advance & therefore I couldnt book the airfare....
but now its time to get going on the airfare portion of our trip so we will be all set for july...
my problem is that #1- i dont even know what airport to fly into and #2- i have no clue what reasonable airfare to st lucia will cost!!
can anyone who has gone/is going to st lucia please post or FM me with any airfare info! like where to fly into, prices, etc.
we are staying at the sandals regency

There are two airports your can fly into. The larger one is at the southern tip of the island and i believe the airport code is UVF....but they have direct flights to this airport and then you have to drive across the island to the hotel and some people say thats not the best of drives.
There is also another airport close to all the Sandals resorts. This airport you have to transfer in either Miami or Puerto Rico....so if you don't mind smaller plans to connect then fly into the smaller airport.
I know FH and I are going for our honeymoon and are looking into airfare now. We want to do first class though and it runs almost over $1,000 per person round trip.
I would talk to you travel agent if you have one. They can get better deals sometimes.

We actually wound up booking with Liberty. FH and I love the idea of the open room, but I know it isn't for everybody. We should definitely plan to meet up one night. I have yet to meet anyone from here, it'd be funny to finally meet up with someone in another country of all places!
