St. Paddy's Day

Falls on a Saturday this year. DH and I decided to take our nephew in to the parade. I'm freakin stoked.

LOVE St. Paddy's Day for obvious reasons. I have enough Irish sweaters for everyone, green nail polish, I'm going to get green hair spray, lipstick, eyeshadow....

I wish I knew a good place to get up high to get good pics of the parade. Do we know anyone with an office on the parade route???

Oooh. I wish I could be there with you! I think I look sickly in green but I wear it every year for Paddy's day. My gramma would climb out of her grave and pinch me if I didn't.

I'll be in the Bahamas enjoying my sunny weather for my long awaited HONEYMOON!

Um, yea. DH is half Irish, and so I now have an Irish last name but we really don't DO the St. Paddy's Day thing.

Maybe since it's a Saturday this year we'll get corned beef for dinner. That'll prob be the extent of it for us.

Tho I also own green nail polish!!

The first year I wore green nail polish on St. Patrick's Day, it turned my nails yellow underneath the polish. I had to wait until my nails grew out for them to get back to normal.

I don't even like corned beef. But Fairway makes an insanely good Shephard's Pie. That's a definite.

Im not sure what Im doing. This is the first St.Paddys day I can do anything b/c its on a weekend. I wanted to see my husband march in the parade this year but some of the FDNY is going to Chicago to march in the parade there. So now Im on my own again
