St. Patrick's Day Wedding

I am getting married next St. Patrick's Day at the Milleridge? Has anyone been to an Irish themed wedding? Any ideas?

Also, any feedback on Milleridge?
Thanks

never been to an 'irish' themed wedding but I wanted to let you know that I think it is a great idea to get married on St. Patrick's day. I am going to guess that you are Irish??

Yes, 3/4ths and my fiance is 1/2 Irish and 1/2 Scottish. Should be fun!

If you budget allows and you can get one on that day, I'd say having a bagpiper come in to the Milleridge and do a couple of songs would be great.

I'd keep it green and maybe you could do one of the cutie plaid dresses they have for the girls out there.

If you can find your husband's or your 'plaid' you could use that either with a sash on your dress or as ribbon on favors.

It's funny - we really thought of doing this too - we were thinking of getting married on the 18th but finally decided on the 25th! And I am only 1/4 irish and FH is all Italian! It would have been cute anyway! :)

I am having a bag piper at the church anywy!

Thanks for the ideas! I will consider a bagpiper. Any suggestions? I would probably just use them at the church.

Dear Vogue Bride:

I would love to get any ideas that you have. From what I have been reading, Milleridge sounds like a great place. I know there bread is the best. I am all new to this, so I don't know what FM means. I will soon learn all the wedding lingo.

FM means forum mail. At the bottom of the post is an icon that will allow you to send a private email to the poster.

You should try going to an Irish import store for some stuff or even ebay! I saw a really nice claddagh unity candle and garter that was green and white with a claddagh in the middle. good luck!
