ok i never had any kind of interview with a priest before we were entered into the book
I was wondering does anyone know how we go about settin a rehearsal time?
What all the rules are?
Is there a person i can talk to there beside a priest for the information

My sister got married there, I know when we had the rehearsal it wasn't a priest that helped us out. If you call the rectory they''ll point you in the right direction.

i set up my rehearsal time when i set the date. i just met with our priest again about 2 weeks ago. it wasn't really a big deal. call up the rectory and they will tell you what you need to do.

When I was going over a few things with our priest on the phone, we set a date and time for the rehearsal!

When we went in to meet with the preist we set the date for the wedding and the resursal.
I think you book both at the same time.
Who is your preist? We are having Father Ned Mattamo (SP?).

so you think i should say something that we never had an interview yet?
Father Denniston is supposed to be marrying us - still crossing my fingers for that - that is the main reason i want to get married there
one other question is there a restriction on what we can wear in the church - like can we wear strapless and not wear anything on our arms
anybody know the costs of the church - all thre rules i have learned from here and know nothing i have decided when it comes to the church

i dont think they have any restrictions. I'll be wearing a strapless dress, and so will some of my BMs... At our first meeting with our priest, he said that maybe some people that are wearing strapless dresses or maybe have tattoos might be uncomfortable and may opt to wear a shawl or something, but its not required. we're paying $475

There are no rules at least that I know of as to how you can dress but you are not allowed to have an isle runner, nor can anything be thrown (rose peddles, rice etc.) And you have to live in Huntington.
I think you have to have the interview before you book the date.
Just call them and ask for father Denniston. He should be able to help you further.
It costs $475.00 + pre cana.
P.S Me and my BM's are wearing strapless.

no it is funny that we are written down int he book - it is officially there i have checked a few times-
When they put us in i could not have an interview because i was leaving the country for four months
i think father denniston does not think we need to have it i guesss becuase i have reminded him once before- he knows my family pretty well

So I would just call him to see when to schedual the rehursal.
Mine is for the night before but I'm gonna change it to 2 days before. My drunkin family will look, feel like crap and now I can enjoy it too!

father denniston was supposed to marry us, but he double booked us by mistake. father berbig will be marrying us instead, hes great too!

HAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really po'ed because I really wanted my flower girls to throw peddles and I also wanted to have lavender thrown at us as we left!!! Maybe I'll just do it anyway!
