St. Patrick's in Huntington?
Can anyone help me with this? My FH is originally from Queens, he is submitting an application to join the St. Patrick's parish in Huntington. This is where we want to get married and raise our children. We currently rent 5 minutes from the church, but it's technically Huntington Station.
I am a member if St. Elizabeth's, although haven't been there in years (I go to St. Pat's for mass).
What are the odds that they are going to permit us to marry at St. Patricks? I've heard if you're not a resident of Huntington they won't let you join the parish. If you're not a parishner you cannot marry there.
Anyone have any information for me? The church is the most stress part of the planning so far!
