We're officially starting to think of where to go on our honeymoon. My FH thinks that Hawaii is too cliche and way too long of a flight (boo, hiss because I really REALLY want to go there). His other suggestion was St. Thomas.... What do we think???

Re: St. Thomas... yay or nay
St. Thomas was one of the stops on our HM cruise. We went shopping in the morning and then to Megan's Bay Beach. It was beaufitul there but it is a bit underdeveloped in spots. I'm sure the resorts are beautiful though. Another poster mentioned Tortola...that was another one of the ports. It was GORGEOUS!!!!! I'm getting the pictures developed now and will post pics for you of St. Thomas and Tortola if you want. We also went to Bermuda which was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. It was our favorite port. I really wanted to go to Hawaii too but the combination of my DH's short vacation time, our lack of $$ and my DH's intense fear of flying it wasn't worth it for us. Of course Hawaii is supposed to be amazing as well but if your FH will be miserable because of the flight, then it might not be worth it. There are a lot of beautiful places to visit on your honeymoon. No matter where you go you'll have an amazing time!

Re: St. Thomas... yay or nay
i just came home from visiting st thomas and the bvi- the pros- you can visit multiple islands by taking a ferry (st johns, st croix, bvi and so on)
the beaches there were AMAZING! the food was great, and they had some point look outs that had the most amazing view EVERRRR
I do agree with someone though who said it was commercialized
if you want beautiful beaches and just a relaxing and romantic time check out bermuda!!!
