Hi! How are you? I am doing good, thanks for asking. I was just making a things left to do list here at work and I have just a few things left. Stuffing hotel bags and wrapping gifts tonight. I can't believe we can count in our heads as to what how many days left at this point....how is your list dwindling down?

list is just about complete but starting to stress a little!!

To-Do:

church programs
Get wine to leave in hotel rooms for OOT guests
confirm all vendors
give seating chart to hall
write out placecards...


Have you started calling and confirming your vendors yet? My DJ and videographer have already called. Still need to call photographer and view a sample of the centerpieces with my florist.

I can't believe it! We only have 2 weekends left to finish things up!!

I know! Actually I have this weekend only since I have my BP Oct. 5th so that weekend is obviously shot.

I spoke to my DJ last week with questions and my photog called today (not the final since I have yet to speak to my actual photographer) and I have spoken to my limo people with booking for BP parties. I will call them all again the week of to double check and triple check, LOL.

Isn't it weird how your list is HUGE and then it starts to get smaller and smaller and you think there has GOT TO BE MORE TO DO?!!!

My bedroom is overflowing with wedding stuff for my reception, pretty soon I will be having to jump from the foot of my bed into it at night! HA HA HA!

Seems like yesterday that we were on these boards and we had just started looking at vendors! Now it's almost here!

I'm glad things are going smoothly for you. Keep me posted on your status.

I probably won't be on the boards as much after next week because we'll be moving all of our stuff into our new apartment.

I WILL however check while at work!!

I just had to reply to you guys b/c I was laughing when you said your bedroom is overflowing...I thought I was the only one!! I'm the day before you 2!! I can't wait to be on that plane to aruba!! I look forward to meeting you stacedz!!

I am in the same boat as you guys. I am Oct 12. We just finished the seating and placecards. I have my final fitting on Oct 1. Then we meet with the Villa to go over the seating on Oct 2. I can't believe how fast the time flew by. We are going to pay the photographer in full soon and finalize with him. the videographer called and I confirmed with him. We did our final song list with the band. I need to confirm with the limo and meet with the florist again. We finished our church programs. I don't think there is to much left to do It seems like yesterday I had 60 something days to go and now we are down to 16 days!!!!!!!!!

Yes Sha...we will have to meet up in Aruba or at least waiting to get on our plane! Can't wait!!!

wow, i've been totally out of this oct. 12th convo!! I feel like my head's going to explode. I just decided today that I NEED to have beer huggy thing extra favors, I need help, I'm psycotic!! I don't believe there is 3 of us going to be on the same plane to aruba, right??? can't wait!!!

OMG, Deb, I am the same way...but with decorations, oh that would be cute, gotta do that, oh I love that, I can do that! FH just looks at me and says I am crazy. We are own worst enemy sometimes!

Just finished designed the church programs so check that off the list!!

One question though:

I'd like to write a little something about FH's deceased parents. We're not having a mass, just a ceremony. So, I can't write 'This mass is dedicated to...'

Any ideas?? I wanted to mention them somewhere on the program....

is it a catholic ceremony? we are not having a mass either, but there is still a prayer of the faithful, like for our parents, that they continue to enjoy good health and happiness, we pray to the LOrd, that kind of stuff. We are saying a little prayer for those in both of our families who passed away. Instead of a unity candle we are putting roses in front of the pictures of our deceased grandmothers.

We put 'in special memory of ' ' who could not be with us today on our church program. We are not having a mass.

Thanks Stace!! My old bedroom at my parents house will still hold all of the wedding stuff! I have bows, bubbles, favors - you name it!

Thanks all for your suggestions on the church programs. I think I'm going to do the 'In Special Memory of '' who could not be with us today.'

We're having a catholic ceremony and the prayer of the faithful...just wanted to add something extra in the program withough bringing the mood down too low!

yes, there are 3 of us going to Aruba together!!! Yeah! I CANNOT wait!! I just want it to get here! When I think about it too much I kinda freak! I just can't believe that I'm actually getting married sometimes! I just feel like the reality of it is not always present b/c I'm so overwhemled w/plans, and when I stop to realize it, it's nuts!! Yikes! I have always been so happy to go to other people's weddings and dreaming of my own, and now it's about 2 weeks away! How did that happen???
Do you girls feel like this sometimes?

I feel the same way Shannon. Its hard to imagine your own wedding. I am very excited and can't believe how fast time is going but I also freak a little thinking of the big day. I am sure we will all be fine and can't wait for the honeymoon. I am the exception going to Hawaii for a cruise..and three more nights there...

I'm going to Hawaii too, but we're flying.

It's weird to me as well that it's 2 weeks away. Scary, but so exciting!!

You just don't realize how much goes into planning until you do it, you know? Like when you are at weddings, you are just there and you aren't behind the scenes but when you stop and think wow, all these little details have been planned for months and months! I just hope everything pulls together as planned. It is crazy to think that your single life is almost over!! Yeah!
