So FH and I moved in last month....we just got a gift of a Stainless China knife set and Stainless China flatware....i put it in the dishwasher and there is some rust!!!!! Are these not machine washable?!??! how do I get the rust off??

By any chance is your dishwashing detergent a citrus scent/kind? Lemon/Orange/etc will cause any form of stainless to rust pretty drastically.
