Ok, so my wedding is June 27th. I am planning to send out my invitations at the nine week mark to avoid postage increases in May. and to get the heart stamps.
However, I will need increased postage for the response cards right?? I was confused, do they not have wedding themed stamps for these?
My invitations are also square and they only have one envelope. Will they be more just because they are square?
Please clue me in :)

You should bring everything to the post office to make sure. I think they have something called the eternity stamp-it's good forever even when the price goes up.

i've heard that they charge a fee for square wedding invitations because they need to hand feed them at the post office due to irregular sizing although i did not hear this directly from the post office so definitely check!

I just checked usps.com because I have square too, and a regular envelope that would cost 42 cents if square costs 62 cents so its true :(

You will probably need to pay more for the square size.
In terms of the response cards, in order to avoid paying increased postage, I would go to the post office stat and buy the forever stamps. If you buy them now, they're $.42, and will be valid 'forever' because there is no dollar amount printed on the front. However, if you purchase them after May 11th, they would be $.44...basically they cost whatever the going rate is.

Yes square is more. and then it also depends on weight. Mine were square and pockets and cost a dollar an invite.
