My invites need .87 of postage. I bought the beast cancer stamps which cost .45 each. Does any one know if the are each worth .45 cents of postage or if they are worth the regular .39 cent postage rate and the extra goes to the charity? Sorry about all the math, I am just driving myslf crazy trying to determine how many of these stamps I need for one envelope.

Call the post office and check with them. I think the stamp is worth the value it's inprinted with the USPO gives some of the money it makes on these back to charity.

Yes, the stamp says 'First Class Rate' on it which is $0.39 so the remainder is given to charity.

Thank you! I think I confirmed my worst fears that it is only worth .39ct, so I have to put 3 on an envelope.
