Are we suppose to provide/ stamp the rsvp envelope for guests? I am confused caused I received both type of invites: one with the stamp already on the rsvp envelope and one where the bride did not provide stamp...
what is correct?

Re: Stamping invites
Yes you are supposed to provide stamps on the RSVP envelope for all invites that are being mailed from the US. If you send an invite internationally you cant put an american stamp on the RSVP...

Re: Stamping invites
Yup definitely. I accidentally mailed out an invite that was missing a stamp on the RSVP envelope and I was so MORTIFIED when I found out that I sent the person an extra stamp in her thank you card from my shower

I did.. I feel like not putting one on the RSVP would give people even more of excuse not to RSVP

Re: Stamping invites
I know that will give people an excude not to rsvp but (not that I want to be cheapo here ) I know there are some people I will have to hunt down ( calling ) to find out whether they are coming or not. Anyways... I will most def stamp those rsvp envelopes.

Re: Stamping invites
think of it this way - you want to make your guest do as little work as possible to get you back the rsvp card right? then the best and proper way is to put a stamp on them...that'll give them less of an excuse to not send it out.

Re: Stamping invites
its polite to have a stamp on it for ur guests. believe me, if its one less thing ur guests have to do, its one less reason they have for not sending it in. definitely stamp em!
