The story of my life - I bought my wedding stamps about a month ago. It's ridiculously early, I know but I was sending out STD's and I wanted pretty wedding stamps so I did it all at once. Now, I hear that prices are going up in the spring! What do I do?????

Re: Stamps
Wow this is the first time I hear that. Well you will just have to buy more stamps(yknow the smaller amount stamps) that equal to the new increased prices.
ETA: Ok..you said they are increasing in the sprint..so why dont you send ur STD's out now..so you get the current rate?

Re: Stamps
Sorry! I just bought my stamps for the invites yesterday and they are ugly! Since my invites go out in February with a March RSVP date I should be safe. I don't know how much wedding invites will cost to send out by when your invites go out.

Yes but when the postage rate goes up, all the postage goes up. Before the post card rate was 20 cents, now it's 24 cents, when the old letter rate was 37 cents then it went up to 39 cents so wedding stamps will likely go up. Mine cost 63 cents now, It will most likely go up in the spring too.

Re: Stamps
Sorry ladies, I don't think I was being clear. I bought the sets of wedding stamps that have the invitation stamps and the reply stamps. I used the reply stamps for my STD's (sent them out about a month ago). Now I have the more expensive wedding stamps left over and won't be sending out the invites until May for my wedding in July. Just venting. I know I can buy the small stamps to add to it, but I'm just frustrated!

oh that really stinks.... Here is what you do....order .039 cent sheets all over again....and just have 2 pretty stamps on the envelope. I know it seems like a urination of funds....but how could you have known? At least they'll look great!

Re: Stamps
For some strange reason I think you can exchange them for new ones and just pay the difference since they are specially made for wedding invitations.
I bought my stamps on zazzle.com and found ones to match my invitations and it costs lots more than if I went to the post office so it's a good think mine are going out Feb. 1st.
