STAMPS!!!

STAMPS!!!

I have been on USPS a million times for months now looking at stamps. Nothing new has really come out that I like. Well of course now tey have ones that I fell in love with but are not available till May 23rd!!!!! That is 1 week after I wanted to mail mine out!!! GRRRR Should I wait and use these stamps????
My RSVP is July 1st. Waiting for this stamp would force me to ship invites end of May rather than middle of May like I was intending.

P.S. All these stamps are just for the RSVP, lord only knows what I will do with the actual invitation stamp!

I like the purple flowers one. But I am a PURPLE gal!! If you really want the other, I don't think delaying a week would be detrimental.

I wouldn't delay. I like the flower or the King/Queen of Hearts. I used the flower on my STDs!

Then again, I didn't care and put liberty bells on my RSVP

Yea, I guess those would be my second choice. I just fell in love with these new ones. They just fit the whole style of my invitations.. I am just worrked because I need to finish these invites up... I would have to wait to stuff envelopes till the very last minute.. hmmmmm.. I know I am nuts! OVER A DAMN STAMP! lol

i was very anal with sending my invites out early - no one really pays attention to the stamps so i didn't care what they looked like. i ended up getting the 60¢ stamp of the wedding cake and the 44¢ stamp of the entwined rings.

I love the new ones!! I would wait - you have time. They are fabulous.

Also don't forget, you could always use the stamp with the wedding rings for your RSVP if you didn't want to wait and didn't like the purple.

DO NOT WAIT! i love those stamps too BUT i went to the post office yesterday to get the other new white flower ones and was told they still dont have them (and they supposedly came out April 17th) so who knows if those will come out on time. Instead of waiting longer i just got the plain wedding ring stamps since i plan to send my invites out shortly.

i would go with the purple ones

you can get those stamps for your thank you cards when they do finally come out

I think its silly to wait for a stamp. Honestly.

No one will care or notice. No one that isn't getting married frequents the post office that often, so they have no idea whats out in terms of stamps.

I am personally planning on using the white wedding cake, which isn't due out until June (we plan on sending ours out 7/7). But, if we see that its not available, i'll do the purple love ones. It's just a stamp....

I dont know if you want to spend extra money on stamps, but maybe you can check Zazzle and see if you can get something customizable from there? That's were we got our stamps from.

i used the purple flower for my stds

they are all nice but idk if i would wait for a stamp when theres a deadline for responding..JMO

I ordered the white roses stamps from the post office website and they came the next day. I just ordered the wedding cake ones yesterday and they said they would ship priority mail today.
If you really have your heart set on them I don't think waiting a week will hurt.

I wouldn't delay either, but those stamps are really pretty. You can use them for your TY cards!

ETA: We used the king/queen of hearts for the RSVPs and the wedding cake stamps for the invites themselves. They looked so cute!

GREAT IDEA!! I didn't even think of the TY cards! I think I will just do this since waiting might be a bad idea. I will stamp and save an envelope with the ones I love for my scrapbook though!! LOL

I am am OCD Graphic Designer who obsesses over this stuff!!

I really don't think it matters either way. Waiting one week is not a big deal, nor is what stamp you put in the RSVP card. It can go either way.

If your RSVP isn't until July 1, you still have time. You shouldn't give people more than 4 weeks to respond, otherwise they may forget to send it back anyway. If you really love those stamps, I say just wait!

If you are referring to the pretty white rose stamps, they have them at the Melville post office on 110. I got 5 sheets for my STD's this past Saturday.

i went to the forest hills office twice...once end april and once monday and they didnt have them
