Stamps for Invitations

Stamps for Invitations

We have stuffed our envelopes but now need stamps for the envelopes. We need 87 and 39 cent stamps and we went to the PO to buy them but the only stamp they have for 87 cents is of a dead present.

I looked on line for wedding stamps and found a site but they will not let me rush the order. I want the stamps as soon as possible. Does anyone know where I can get nice 87 cents wedding stamps quickly??

TIA

Did you try zazzle.com? You may be able to get rush shipping with them.

Or what about putting 2 stamps on the invite? You could get the wedding stamp set and use both the 63 and 29 cent on the front.

Hmmm, honestly, I would just place the order online and mail them out the day the stamps arrive. I can't imagine that it will take more than a few days.

In the meantime, if you haven't already done so, double check that all envelopes have all the enclosures included, all the addresses are correct and legible, etc.

Also, you have enough time to mail them out. Usually they are mailed out 6-8 weeks (or max of 10 weeks) before the wedding and your wedding is in about 13 weeks. Don't fret, you have time. Order them online.

I was going to say the same thing. If you order them online, I am sure you will get them in a week max, which gives you more than enough time to mail them out.

Why dont you just forget the stamps - put 39 cent stamps on the response envelope.

Bring the un-stamped invitations to the post office, and make them hand-stamp it with the correct domination.

I'm trying to get mine out early because I don't have a clue as to how many people are actually coming. I have a lot of 'family problems' and I'm not sure who will actually come so I want enough time to invite other if I have to.

I wouldnt worry to much about the stamps. I dont think people actually notice what stamps you used.

I used 2 stamps. I know it isn't what most brides want.... but I loved it. I got to include a butterfly stamp.

I think zazzle and photostamps both deliver in 2 weeks. You should have plenty of time to get them before you need to mail out your invitations.

I would wait for sure. I think I heard that stamps were going up in May. I could be wrong. Has anyone else heard this?

I wouldn't worry you have plenty of time.
You should give your guests 6-8 weeks for rsvp's.
You'll get em
