Stamps Info

For all those getting married late June and on we got screwed with the increase in stamps. I went to the post office today and spoke to the woman about the increase. I am sending out my invites May 1st so therefore I lose out on the decrease in big postage b/c it is before May 14th when the increase begins, And the response cards will need a 2 cent stamp added b/c they will be coming back until early June. In my opinion the 2 cent stamp is ugly but what are you gonna do, we have no choice. It just stinks b/c we spent all this money on beautiful invitations. But like my mom said no one will care. Sorry had to vent.

So all you girls that are sending out invites after May 14th go but your 2 cent stamps they will be flying out of the post office sooner than you think. Good Luck!

I know what you mean....I actually purchased 2 cent stamps that weren't half bad. I bought the Navajo necklace ones....It depicts a silver necklace w/ turquoise gems. My colors are Tiffany blue and silver, so I guess it will go w/ the theme...although next to that I'll have the 39 cent stamp w/ the lovebirds! That definitely does not go! but oh well....had to my rsvp is june 1st!

Those are the ones I got too. They really don't look that bad. And really, noone will be looking at the envelope for your response card.
