Stamps on the rsvp envelopes

Stamps on the rsvp envelopes

Hello everyone,

I'm about to get stamps to send my invitations out. I want to save $ but I also want people to return the rsvps. Is it necessary to put a stamp on the return envelopes? What are your opinions on this? Thanks!

I am about to send mine out too. I am getting married on the same day. Yes, I think you should stamp them. Which stamps are you using for invites- the cake?

Yes, it is necessary to put stamps on the envelope. This is NOT a place to save money on.

Thanks everyone! Just wanted to know and make sure. I will definitely be putting stamps on the rsvps then. And LJill- I will either be using the cake or the rings.

Yes def. put a stamp on the rsvp....if you don't you may never get them back!

Cake goes on the outside, rings on the inside

Cake = .61
Rings = .47 cents (or whatever postage is now)

yes postage is a must......I know it stinks but its kind of standard IMO.

yep-- def!!! you're already going to need to stalk people to get them back whether you have stamps or not, but you'll have to stalk less if you do put the stamps on :O)

yes, if you want to receive the rsvps, put stamps on them, people have a tough enough time checking yes or no and sticking it into the mailbox, god forbid they had to buy a stamp, they would never send it back. Plus IMO it tacky to not put a stamp on it, I would try to save money in another area, not postage. HTH
