Great idea Mary Anne!! *NM*

You can try Ray's Formals in Franklin Sq. - (516) 775-5794. Speak with Jennifer. She's the owner and she is very helpful. I bought my tux from them and they were great. They can also fit on very short notice. For Limos you can try Designer in Port Washington. I don't have the number handy. but they have a web site. Their rates were a little bit cheaper than everyone else, and I have heard from other limo companies that they do an excellent job. You know they must be doing something right when other limo companies speak highly of them.

Here's something that I was just made aware of. The postage is going up sometime this week. So, if you just bought a bunch of $.33 stamps you are going to have to put another $.01 stamp on the envelope and here's the real kicker. If you put stamps ($.33) on the reply card envelopes (lets say in the past few weeks) what happens to the reply card when it is mailed after the postage goes up? Just what we need, another headache! :o)

Mary Anne,

First of all, I'm sorry your mom won't be with you on your special day, but remember, she is with you.

Kel...we're doing a donation...

In memory of both of our fathers - and in our guest's names (as a group). We're donating to the American Heart Association (for my dad) and the American Diabetes Foundation (my FI's dad). We're printing 'scrolls' for each place setting and tying them w/ a ribbon. The cost is the same as doing a favor, but it means so much more to us!

Kathi, thanks to you...

Kathi,

I think one of your earlier posts (maybe within the past month or so) is what turned me on to the idea. We're considering doing the American Cancer Society since we've had members on both sides of our family battle cancer.

In loving memory of our fathers

Kathi's Dad (his full name, of course!)

I think that sounds great! And the scrolls sound like they'll be pretty. We've also chosen burgundy as our color, so obviously I like that idea!

You have me thinking again...maybe it would sound better if ours said:
