Stan Wiest - Music

We are thinking of booking Stan Wiest for our band for our June 05 wedding. Does anyone have any feedback?? Has anyone used them??

He must be good because he has preformed for Mayor Guliani and celebs like Barbra Walters I think. But ofcourse that also means hes VERY expensive. I called him for a quote on a instrumental duo and he wanted $800/hour meanwhile I was referred to a Prof. at Juliard that refers you to musicians and the SAME duo would cost me only $760 for 3 hours!

I'm sure his services are fine, but I did not like that when I tried to book an appointment he told me he only meets with you once prior to the wedding so I better be sure to bring whomever is involved in making decions. I felt a little pressured, like he was 'approving' me, and not the other way around. JMHO, but I've heard only good things about his company.

We meet with him for 2 hours and it was interesting to say the least. He is pricey and very full of himself. The music is okay but if you are looking for a band that is true to the original singer, then this band is not for you. FM me for more information.
