Standard deposits

Hello all!!! I was just wondering since i am about to go look at some sites what is a standard deposit or percentage to hold a date? i would like to be prepared with this info!! thanks a bunch

10% Reception
30% Photo
Limo $200 deposit
Flowers $50 deposit
Dress 100% down (I ordered online)
DJ $500 down
Total $5650 Down

DJ 40%-Though I was allowed to pay in installments
Photographer- $400 down

At my reception hall, I had to put $500 to hold the date and then make mthly payments after that for the next 10 mths. After that my next pymt is due 30 days before the wedding which will be 50% of the balance and then my balance is due 8 days before the wedding.

I really think everywhere varies, at least the places I looked at anyway.

1500 photographer

so far both videographers i've talked to said $500

I think Eliana told me 30% for flowers...or I'm hallucinating

I think $200 for trumpeteers

I haven't booked much so that is all I got for ya...

We did the following:
500 on Hall
$475 for Flowers
$400 Photographer
$585 Videographer
$100 DJ
$200 Trumpeters
$475 Limos
Some do more, some do less. And although there are some vendors that want the rest paid the day of or 2 weeks before, we're sending increments till our date so it'll mostly be paid off. Less stress.I'm not good with the percentage thing, so hope this helps.

Reception - 10%
Dj- $500
Photo/video - $500
