STAR says they need a copy of the deed...

I don't think I have a deed. I have a contract of sale. What does the deed look like? Should I have that? What did you girls send for STAR?

speaking of deeds- we just received ours in the mail sent from our lawyer....perhaps you should call your lawyer and see if he/seh has it or sent it?
it looks like just another one of the many papers that we signed at closing. nothing special!

Yeah that makes sense. I don't think you ever get the ORIGINAL deed until your lien clears.

But a copy works for documents like that.

Call 516-571-2377. They will send you an application. I talked to them today. It has to be in before January 2005 so call soon.
