'Star' Sighting

I was in the Gap at the Walt Whitman mall this morning, and on line in front of me was Jamie Lynn DiScala (soon to be Siegler again), Meadow from the Sopranos, and her mom. Her mom is very tiny and very pretty. She was smiling the whole time and joked/chatted with me about this cute little girl who was walking by.

Jamie Lynn had on a light peach rain coat, a grey sweater, and tight light blue jeans tucked into light beige suede boots of some kind - they weren't Uggs, but they had a square label in the same place. She had a black quilted Chanel tote, with the huge white logo on the side. She paid by gift card. She had short, maybe bitten, nails and had a huge scab on the top of her right hand. You can kind of see up her nostrils when you look straight at her, and she has visible veins on the left side of her nose. She took a two page print out from her bag and looked at it and showed her mom. (It said 1 of 2 [pages] on the top right corner.) It said something about '.....movies.com.....' I couldn't really see it. She then took her cell phone out of her bag and pressed a button on it and put it back in her bag. She was looking around the store and seemed nervous and wide eyed the whole time. She took off her rain coat, folded it, put it in a Body Shop bag (I didn't even think there was a Body Shop in the WW mall) turned to me and said 'It's so hot in here.'

So, that was my very detailed run-in with a psuedo celebrity. I thought I'd share it with you girls, because I know I personally love to read this kind of stuff.

THATS SO FUNNY! YES THERE IS A BODY SHOP THERE- ITS NEAR SAKS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, ACROSS FROM BROOKS BROTHERS AND NEXT TO ABERCROMBIE KIDS.

I work at NYU and there are always celebrities walking around down here by campus. I'm soooo not cool around them either.

Kenny Loggins (okay..so he's not really a Celeb)
Bono

Its horrible...I totally oogle them. At least you were able to talk to her normally. She would have avoided eye contact with me.

Too funny! I actually work right next to her Dad and brother's office and say hi to her VERY cute brother all of the time. I actually found them their current administrative assistant a couple of years ago!

awww...I love hearing about stars shopping at regular stores....


she is gorgeous and I always thoguht her ex was a hottie....they always seemed happy and I thought for sure they would last...

so sad

She’s not a pseudo celebrity, IMO. She’s a pretty big star.

I wonder if she lives in the area.
