I have to admit as much as I try, I get lost trying to follow the story. I had no problems following LOTR, why cant I understand this story?

Darth Vader is Luke SKywalkers father

Princess Leia and Luke are brother & sister, but they kiss before they know it, ewwwww..

anakin skywalker becomes darth vader in the Revege of the sith, which is the last movie, but the 3rd of the series.

Wow did I receive zero sleep. Did I really spell scene seen?

What i dont understand is in the first episode Padme was arguing in the senate. what was that about with the trading? the only thing I can assume it the senator (the evil one) wants to control the senate. Is that right?
