I used them for my May wedding and I had Paul as my MC. I specifically requested Paul after DH and I met him at a bridal showcase. We gave him a list of music and he played EVERY one! They were AMAZING! We also had percussionist who played along with all of the dancing music and it was a hit! Take a look at my review! I would highly recommend them!

I'm considering using them as my dj....but if we do, we'd definitely go w/ Paul or Vinny. I went to a wedding a month ago and Starlight Express was the dj......I don't know the name of the MC, but he was of carribean decent and he was not good!! He was yelling all the time and really annoying.....the bride was visibly annoyed with him! I still think they're a good company, just stay away from that MC!!

They will try to cater to you if you prefer a certain MC. They asked my if I wanted an Italian MC. I said NO WAY! LOL. I wasn't going to be speaking Italian or playing Italian music but it is nice to know that they can provide whatever you need. LOL. Paul is awesome. And he's not bad to look at

We just used Starlight Express for our October 20th wedding and we had Vinny as an MC an Enzo as a DJ. I'm in the process of writing my review now but all i can say is the a PHENOMINAL!!! I can't wait to go to my sister's wedding because she is using them as well. My guests did not get off the dance floor. It was great!

I used them. Demetrios was my DJ & he was amazing, MC-Koko not so much. FM for details, but I would pick Vinny or Paul if they are available.

I'm sorry Karen, I probably totally confused you. We actually are using a band for the wedding BUT if we did go with a DJ we would have hired Starlight Express..maybe I would have went with Vinny instead of Paul..for obvious reasons![]()

THAT'S WHO IT WAS!!! the MC at the wedding I went to was Koko....I'm so glad I know the name now, b/c I did not care for him!!! If I hire them, I will definitely not use Koko. thanks!!

Koko was good, he got the crowd up ( but our families like to dance though and might have been on the dance floor anyway). we also had a percussionist. No he definitely did not have an accent, I just thought he was of caribean decent....I met him when I had my appt. w/ Starlight a while ago....he was very nice but his style was definitely not for me!!!
