starting my second job today

i am starting my secnd job today so i can save more money for hte wedding ... so that means less time for planning and less time on here which means i wont be able to get psot count higher any time soon ...its taking me forever as it is ... anyone else feel my pain have to work 2 jobs to pay for the wedding?????

I'm right in the boat with you. I work 3 jobs and it does get very overwhelming but the money helps sooooo much!!

Right now check my crazyyyy schedule:

Mon: 9:00a-5:30p then 7:15p-9:30p
Tues: 9:00a-5:30p then 7:00p-10:00p
Wed: 9:00a-5:30p then 6:30p-9:30p
Thurs: 9:00a-5:30p then 8:30p-10:30p
Fri: 9:00a-5:30p
Sat: OFF
Sun: 10:30a-1:00p

wow thats alot ... yeah i work 8-430ish then ill be working 6-10 M-f and i'm not sure what the weekend entails .... thats why i'm working 2 jobs just for that extra income ... do i really need to proabably not but if i want to be able to do anything extra I NEED TOO ...

i only have had one other job in my life besides the one i am currently at which was working at waldbaums ... so i returned there ... i was there for almost 7 years so its easy they will work with my schedule and basically let me do what ever i want ... and i usually get what ever i want ... though just in case anyone was thinking of applying at any waldbaums they make you take a drug test now and they do a criminal record it took me forever to get hired back there i felt like i was trying to get a job for the FBI or something

lol yeah i wanted to go back there too - i was there for 6 years and quit a year and a half ago - but its all new managers so i cant flirt my way back in at my old pay. . . i am hoping one of the old managers comes back soon!

ugh! i feel your pain!! i am starting my second job in a few weeks when spring semester begins, i am happy bout the $ but NOT looking forward to the stress!! after teaching my kids all day i will be working at hofstra 3 days a week...which isnt a lot of time but there is a LOT of paperwork!!

I work at a dance studio in Howard beach....Mainly ballet and some competion jazz classes. I went to a performing arts HS for dance and stuck with dance since then so im not sure i want to stop yet...LoL but it doesn't pay the bills too well!!!!!!

Yeah. .. I know---I used to teach dance also. . .but I found the amount of hours you put into the routines and the dance rehearsals didn't really amount to much. . .I miss it though--at least I still judge competitions. . .so I am exposed to it a little

yeah i quit about that long ago too ... there are mostly all new mangers there but there is one there that was there when i was so i lucked out .. thank god!!!!!!
