Starting my venue search...
Hi Brides!I have been engaged for a LONG time (almost 8 years) and we have finally decided to get married on 10-3-14!!! dont mind the date under my name, it has been changed lol...
I am starting to research on venues and I want to know if anyone can give me some quoted prices they recieved on these places:
Fox Hollow: any of the rooms
The Grandview in Poughkeepsie
Lessings: particularly Bourne Mansion & Coindre Hall
Jericho Terrace
Falkirk Estate
and if you could suggest any places to me that be great also!
I'll add on if I remember anymore (i'm sure there are more I want to add)
Thanks ladies!!

I dont know the price for Fox Hollow Somerly room but my friend got married there last yr and it was beautiful. I think she got it for a steal bc it was under construction at the time. I heard they have since then raised their prices

I don't have quotes for Fox Hollow either, but I was there Friday night for a wedding in the new room they built and it was BEAUTIFUL. The food was great, service was great. I was very impressed.

We were given 129++ for a day wedding for the somerly for October 2014. Bourne mansion the guy the second we walked in told us I don't think you can afford this. It was something ridiculous like 199++ for a sat day wedding plus the 5k site fee. After looking at every venue on LI lol we went with Jericho Terrace they have amazing food was way under where we wanted to pay and threw in extras. And out of our top 3 which one was fox hollow we went to eat at each place, Jericho had the best food out of the 3 so we let that and the price make our decision.

I don't have a price quote - but a lot of girls on here probably won't either seeing as Poughkeepsie is upstate (but I live there) I went to a wedding in September at the Grandview and thought it was great - and the food was delicious!

I am also starting my venue search. As of right now, our list consists of Chateau Briand, Jericho Terrace, Fox Hollow, Sand Castle and Crest Hollow. Anyone have any quotes for a Sunday in May? Or any pros/cons about any of the venue.? Your help is greatly appreciated!

I literally just booked Coindre Hall yesterday. We got quoted 110 pp for a Friday or Sunday. 125 for a Saturday in October. But we were able to talk them down a bit. FM me if you want more details. Good luck

Fox Hollow (Somerley room)will be around 130- 140 but keep in mind that they include the ++, most places do not include that when they give you quotes.

The coindre hall if you check the lessings website they are offering an all inclusive package for 100 people for $14 k that doesn't last long bc 3 months ago they didn't offer it in that hall and now they do and not the others. If that makes sense. So if you like it you might have to act fast before they change it again
