Starting Time

Do you think it's strange/awkward to have a wedding start at 5:45 pm? Is it awkward on the invitation? We are having the ceremony and reception all in one place and we've extended our cocktail hour by 15 mins - so our whole affair will last 6 hours 15 mins. There's a 30 min pre-ceremony beverage service and the actual ceremony will start at 6:15pm.

How would you word the invitation? 'at forty-five minutes past five o'clock in the evening' ?
