Starting to Freak A little

I am getting married 5/17/08 and the only thing I have done is book the reception and I got my dress. Over the last couple and (next few weeks) I have been looking at photographers and DJ;s. I feel sooo behind. I see a lot of people have all these things booked already.

How far ahead should i book the florist and block hotel rooms, ect..

Is anyone else feeling the same??

First of all, I love the bouquet in yoru pic and I've stolen it for my album.

Second, you have time! I've heard the florist is the last thing you have to do, and even if you were even MORE pressed for time I'm sure most places would accomodate. You've gotten the maine things done it seems, so don't stress so much!

def do DJ and photo , then move onto other stuff -


i still need my dress, BM dresses, flowers, limo.

Just prioritize, and breath

Decide what is most important to you, and go in that order. For us it was:

Church/Hall (of course!)
Photo/Video
Band
Limo
Florist

Just do your research online, narrow it down so you only have to meet 3-4 of each vendor, and you'll be done in no time.

That is basically how I have it mapped out in my head. My FSil said limo's was one of the hardest things, and I thought it would be one of the
easiest. Yes, breathing is good. I have just been watching the countdown clock up there and time is a flying. Plus, I am very indecisive.

i'm the week after you hon, and I don't have a dress either. FH and I just chose our photog and music last weekend. I think we'll be ok, it's just time to kick it into gear!!

I am getting married in april and I still don't have my dress lol I can't though too pregnant. I have to wait till end of sept. I better get my dream dress or I'll be a very unhappy woman.

Aww, congratulations and good luck. I am sure you will find your dream dress!

Oh crap...Im in worst shape than you....all I have is a ring, a promise and a March date which might even be change due to the fact that we don't have a RH yet.

We are having a tough time deciding in the halls and ceremony dept!!!

Don't worry, these ladies here on LIW give great advice! Before you know it everything will fall into place.

Dont stress it. IT wil get gone. I booked my hall and after that , in 3 weeks I booked florists, dj, photographer and videographer. Just do a lot of research online and get reviews of vendors you like. IT makes your visiting them a lot easier and quicker.
