So Wachovia - the bank that funds my company - was just bought today. We are all starting to get afraid over here that we are going to out jobs becuase without their money our company wouldn't be in business.
Wow America is such a great country to live in!!!!

sooo sorry to hear about that, fingers crossed that everything works out for the best and that your job is safe,
I think we all are starting to get scared, my job is closing all of our outlet stores (53 stores) by december 31st, those are all the payrolls that i do, so i'm starting to get worried also

There is nothing worse than fearing layoffs. Happened to me last year and it just ate me up inside for a month. My advice is to start putting feelers out to see what's out there. You never know, may not get laid off but you could find your dream job while looking.

I know what you are going through. My company was bought out last yr and we were all afraid. Thanksfully it worked out. I hope it does for you, too!

FH wants to move to Canada, he says nothing bad ever happens there....no financial worries no wars, happy population, etc.
I said Connecticut was far enough for me!

i know what you mean, my company has been a mess lately w/ the whole Lehman thing going down and we had to lay off 5 people... im just trying to stay positive. I hope all works out w/ you and your company!

i want to move to FRance!!!! they pay for you to go to school... free health care and if you have kids the goverment hires someone to help u at home 3 days a week with laundry and cooking!!!!!
