Starting to plan... HELP!
Ok, so I've have a very long engagement and have finally started palnning for my wedding (July 2008). I'm totally new at this and have a small budget, any suggestions would be helpful. Here is what I've got...
We are planning to have the reception be a lake tour upstate (about 3 hours on a ferry). I am thinking pink (what color pink would go good for July?) for the bridesmaids and some purple in the flower bouquets. Groomsmen... idk, please help. Anyway, I'm thinking of some beachy-type things for favors, like shells, starfish and sand dollars. I want bubbles too! Now here is the idea I'm struggling with. I was thinking of getting silk orchid leis for the guests... any thoughts on this, and if I should do it, when and how should the guests be presented with them? Any cheap or DIY ideas? And if anyone has a good playlist made out for the reception, that would be great! I just don't know where to start with everything and cannot hire a planner! Ok, thats enough for now.
